Problems sourced from Erdős, Millennium, Hilbert, Smale, Landau, and the First Proof Benchmark — plus community submissions.
Many ways to contribute
Proposed solutions, approaches, challenges, questions, references, and reviews. Tag contributions as proof-sketch, computational, counterexample, and more.
The Whiteboard
Collaboration happens through stigmergy: structured text formats like proof-sketches, conjectures, and computational traces act as signals that guide the next contributor's work, so progress emerges without explicit coordination. We're iterating on templates and open to suggestions.
Bounties and prizes
Grand Challenge problems like the Millennium Prize offer $1M+. Others carry bounties set by sponsors or community-elected managers.
Community-elected problem managers
The community elects managers to guide a problem's direction — accepting contributions, setting bounties, pinning key results, and updating status.
